HOW TO HEAL THE HEART CHAKRA



What is the Heart chakra?

This is referred as the anahata in Sanskrit which means unhurt. This is the fourth chakra and the colour associated with this chakra is green. The heart chakra resembles peace, calmness and balance. 

Symptoms

If the heart chakra is blocked, it is usually to do with any emotional distress caused by challenging situations or circumstances. This can also affect mental health related to these types of issues. Normally when this is blocked, one may experience feelings of jealousy, judgement, validation from others or depending on other people too much. 

Other forms of an unbalanced symptoms include low/high blood pressure, poor blood circulation, respiratory and breathing difficulty, low immune system which may cause regular colds, flus, build up of mucus. 

Healing

To balance this chakra point it is important to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Maybe practice yoga to replace and balance positive energy. Also let go of any unwanted negative thoughts and forgive yourself from any past trauma. Forgive others around you as well. Let go of the anger.

It is also good to release these negative thoughts by crying to help the chakra unblock. This will also help open up the heart chakra and make it easier to create energy which includes love, gratitude, compassion and kindness. Also move the body with exercise to help with blood circulation. Meditation also helps with the flow of positive energy. 

Types of food good for the heart chakra

-spinach
-green tea
-celery
-cabbage
-broccoli
-kiwi
-peas
-avocado
-cucumber

If leafy vegetables are not your ideal type of food to consume, then why not try some of the natural green juices or green teas? The juices can be made using a blender. Or buy some at a local health or juice store. 

The main thing is to think and do things that make you feel happy! Stay positive throughout the day. Eliminate unnecessary thoughts by changing your environment and meeting up with people that share the same interests. Be be creative as well, maybe join an art class or take up an extra sport!
