INTERACT WITH PEOPLE FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD BY SOCIAL MEDIA

This year doesn't necessarily have to be all doom and gloom. There are other ways to celebrate the upcoming festivals this year whether it is Halloween, Diwali, Christmas, Chinese New Year, birthdays, weddings or any other special occasions. 

Why not create online parties for your loved ones by setting up meeting rooms whether it is on Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Facebook or any other social networking platforms that offer this type of communication? I am still testing all the different social media platforms which is a whole new experience for me. I have gained many skills along the way and it took heaps of encouragement and determination. It is based down to trial and error!

I was camera shy at first and just by attending networking sessions I began to feel more confident. It becomes easier the more you do it and I also find that I feel good afterwards once I have interacted with people. I guarantee you will feel the same too! 

So whether you want to set up an event or generally want to attend online learning classes, go for it! Once you know the basics it will be a lot easier over time. Also prepare in advance what you want to say if you are self promoting. Whether this is towards your business, acting as a host for your online party, dance classes etc always plan ahead. 

This way you will feel at ease and it will become natural to you. Set up your equipment in advance so if there are any technical obstacles they can be solved. If you are using a phone or a laptop to demonstrate slides, make-sure you have a paper copy of this too just in case the technical errors cannot be solved.
